VAIC’s Corrosion Detection & Prevention service helps you protect uptime and extend asset life by identifying where corrosion is occurring, why it’s happening, and what actions will stop it.
Inspection technique
We combine visual assessment, thickness monitoring, corrosion mapping, and targeted NDT within integrity programs aligned with API 510 / API 570 practices. When required, we integrate metallurgical assessment to confirm damage mechanisms and support root-cause prevention. We also provide dedicated capability for Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI) detection and inspection, using screening to identify hidden wall loss on insulated systems, followed by targeted verification for accurate sizing and decision-making.
